Real-time Instagram mosaics - Creating Ray-Ban images on the fly using 3,000+ concertgoer's photos

They said it wouldn’t work. Take thousands of concert attendee's photos as they are taken and build a perfect mosaic out of them. What if you don't get the right images? What if you don't get enough images? Will it just look end up looking a bit meh?

Building on our Instaprint software, we tweaked and twisted our algorithms to death until we finally cracked it. A massive Barcelona-based music festival later, Ray-Ban reaped the rewards of being the first to see it all come to life.
